• Marijuana has been legal in Colorado for almost 10 years now and we declare this holiday as a celebration of Cannabis Culture. The Mile High 420 Festival is the World’s Largest Free 420 Celebration in Denver’s Civic Center Park.

  • Even though this is a free event you will still need to get a General Admission ticket through Eventbrite. Plan to have your tickets ready at the gates.

  • The Mile High 420 Festival is a 21+ event only (since 2023). Nobody under the age of 21 will be allowed entry.

  • The Mile High 420 Festival takes place annually at Civic Center Park in the heart of Downtown Denver, Colorado. The address for the park is 101 14th Ave, Denver, CO 80204. Parking is available on residential streets and nearby parking garages. RTD bus transportation stops arrive right at the edge of the park. Ride share pickup and drop-off locations are identified around the festival.

  • The festival will be open 1pm with music from all day and into the night.

  • One entrance is located on the West side of Broadway between Colfax Ave and 14th Ave. and the other entrance is at the corner of 14th Ave and Bannock St. Please have your photo ID and tickets ready when you arrive at the gates.

  • The following items are not permitted: 

    Large purses, bags, backpacks, or coolers

    • Outside food, drinks, or liquid of any kind (Empty non-glass water bottles are permitted)

    • Weapons of any kind including firearms, pocket knives, pepper spray, or any objects that could be used as a weapon

    • Fireworks, sparklers, or smoke bombs

    • Megaphones, air horns, musical instruments, or amplified sound equipment

    • Glass of any kind (except for eyeglasses & sunglasses)

    • Grills, gas, propane, generators or open flames

    • Laser pointers or LED projection lights

    • Pets (except service animals)

    • Drones, remote controlled planes or cars

    • Balloons, inflatables, or kites

    • Balls, frisbees, or sporting equipment

    • Professional recording equipment, cameras or tripods

    • Bikes, skateboards, one-wheels, unicycles, roller skates, inline skates, or scooters

    • Markers, pens, chalk, stickers, or spray paint

    • Illegal substances, marijuana, marijuana products or paraphernalia

    • Outside vendors, unauthorized solicitations, handbills, sampling, giveaways

    • Umbrellas, furniture, or lawn chairs

  • Public consumption of marijuana is prohibited under Colorado State law. It is also illegal to possess more than one ounce of marijuana or its equivalent in marijuana products under Colorado State law. Anyone caught distributing marijuana or using any illegal substances at the event may be removed from the event by local authorities.

  • Bags are not permitted at the event. No hand bags, backpacks, large purses will be permitted into the festival. Any small bags or those that must come in for medical purposes will be thoroughly searched.

  • Yes, over 20 of Denver's best food trucks will be available at the event as well as small convenience stores stocked with great snacks and small necessities.

  • Yes, the entire event will be 21+ and alcohol consumption will be permitted in certain areas throughout the festival. Smoking of any kind in these areas is strictly prohibited and enforced.

  • Rain or shine, the festival will happen unless deemed unsafe. Pray for sun, but check the weather before you come and dress accordingly.

  • Lost and Found will be available at the festival’s Merchandise booth located at the very center of the park. Find maps throughout the festival if you have any issues locating it.
